Working Principle

  • The cylinder block is rigidly clamped onto the fixture.

  • Center alignment is performed using a dial gauge or centering tool.

  • Required machining parameters are entered on the HMI:

    1) Spindle RPM

    2) Feed rate (mm/min or mm/rev)

    3) Total boring depth

  • Auto mode is selected.

  • The servo-controlled feed initiates precise downward movement of the boring tool.

  • Upon reaching the preset depth:

1) Automatic feed stop

2) Automatic tool retraction

3) Optional spindle stop

  • Cycle completion status is displayed on the HMI.
